Come See Us!
In our unique two-church parish within the Disciples of Christ, we embrace a spirit of unity and diversity. Both congregations, while distinct in their local traditions and community engagements, share a common commitment to inclusivity, Christian love, and spiritual growth. Our worship services blend contemporary and traditional elements, fostering a deep sense of community. Together, we actively participate in outreach programs, educational activities, and fellowship, embodying the core values of our faith and enriching the lives of all members across both congregations.
What are your services like?
There is singing of hymns, responsive readings, recitation of the Lord's Prayer, Scripture readings, a sermon, an offering, communion service, and a closing hymn.
Where should I park?
Central Christian and First Christian church have open parking for all.
Where should I go when I enter the building?
We have greeters located at the doors who will welcome you.
Do you have a sunday school for children?
Our Sunday school is a joyful place where children come together each week to explore faith through stories, songs, and crafts. In this warm, colorful space, they learn about biblical teachings and values like kindness and friendship. It's a time of fun, learning, and community, nurturing young hearts and minds in the spirit of togetherness.
What should I wear?
We are more concerned about you and your presence with us
than we are with what you wear. As a church, we gather to worship the Lord and
want to dress in a way that honors God. Most of our members wear something in
the range of business formal to business casual.
